Orion Surgery Center Targets a $10 Million Contribution to Health Exports

Orion Surgery Center, established through the collaboration of 10 expert aesthetic surgeons, has officially opened. The Chairman of the Board of the surgical center, which will provide services in plastic surgery, hair transplantation and treatments, medical aesthetics, and dental aesthetics, Op. Dr. Tamer Şakrak, said: “From a physician’s perspective, we have built a human-centered institution where trust and quality are indispensable, and one that is scientific rather than sensational. After establishing a strong corporate structure, we aim to expand our range of services by opening branches both domestically and internationally. In line with this, we aim to contribute $10 million to health exports in our first year, and $25 million within 5 years through new investments.”

Founded under the partnership and supervision of 10 aesthetic and plastic surgery specialists, guided by ethical principles and scientific evidence, Orion Surgery Center has begun accepting patients at its facility, which includes 9 operating rooms, 50 observation rooms, and 13 hair transplantation units. The center aims to contribute $10 million to health exports in its first year through international patients, and with new investments, it targets increasing this figure to $25 million within 5 years.

Op. Dr. Tamer Şakrak, Chairman of the Board of Orion Surgery Center, stated that as life expectancy increases worldwide and socioeconomic conditions improve, the desire among people to stay young, look younger, or become more attractive has grown significantly, and that the aesthetics sector has become unnecessarily commercialized. Şakrak noted that sometimes even human health can be overlooked, and said that for this reason, they came together as 10 highly specialized and accomplished plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgeons. “We feel responsible to our profession, our country, and all humanity. From a physician’s perspective, we have created a human-centered institution where trust and quality are indispensable, and which is scientific rather than sensational. At Orion Surgery Center, we are establishing a shared database for the physicians who will perform surgeries, along with a system that will monitor both the methods used before, during, and after surgery and the medium- and long-term effects of those methods.
